# Why am I having problems with Apple / Google Pay?

MedEntry uses the secure payment gateway Braintree to process all credit card payments. Braintree must verify the payment method for all transactions, including those via Apple and Google Pay.

Unlike credit cards, the payment verification for Apple and Google Pay is a multistep process. Once the payment method is verified you must click the ‘Place Order’ button to confirm your transaction. Unless the last step has been completed, payment has not been made and your order is not confirmed.
